November Workshop for Families with 1–2-Year-Olds

 

We are excited to invite families of young children (ages 1–2) to our upcoming November workshop series. ​

As children transition from infancy to toddlerhood, families often experience many changes—some joyful and exciting, and others more challenging.

During these workshops, we will explore essential developmental knowledge and age-appropriate skills that help create supportive environments where toddlers can thrive. At this stage, a child’s brain is highly active and shaped by daily routines and interactions. It is especially important for caregivers to understand what to expect at this stage of development and how to provide the right support.

In this two-part series, we will focus on how to read young children’s cues, set clear expectations, and establish appropriate limits and boundaries. Caregivers will gain tools to better understand toddler behaviors, support emotional regulation, and respond in developmentally appropriate ways. Together, we’ll explore how everyday interactions can promote a toddler's growth and well-being.

Over the course of two days, participants will build a deeper understanding of toddler development, learn about key milestones, and strengthen strategies to help children reach their full potential.

​This two-part workshop will be held on Saturday, November 15, and Saturday, November 22, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the KCSC Tukwila Office.
